Why Does My Timeline in TappTracker Show the Wrong Name?

If you share your app and notice that the TappTracker timeline is displaying a different Tapper name, this occurred because the other Tapper is set to the wrong status within your ‘Tapper List’.

Most often, the error is because their status is set to 'This is me.' Because they are incorrectly set to ‘This is me’, every time you share your app it will display their name instead of yours.

To fix this, simply follow these steps:

  1. Tap on the Tapper’s name (the name displaying on the TappTracker Timeline)
  2. Their ‘Tapper Record’ will open
  3. Locate the ‘Status’ of the Tapper
  4. If the ‘Status’ is set to ‘This is me’, tap ‘Edit’ and change it to the correct ‘Status’ of the Tapper
  5. Tap ‘Done’ in the upper right hand corner to save the changes made to the ‘Tapper Record’
